FAQ

Dataverse Training Questions

Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp.

Is this the same content as in the Model-Driven Apps training?

There's some foundational overlap, but this training goes deeper into Dataverse specifically — data modeling, importing from SharePoint, security roles, and connecting Dataverse to both Power Apps and Power Automate.

Do I need to know Power Apps or Power Automate already?

No, but understanding how Dataverse connects to both will make more sense if you've used either tool before. It's not required.

Why would I choose Dataverse over SharePoint for my data?

The training explicitly covers this — Module 1 compares the two so you can make an informed choice based on your business needs (scalability, security, relationships).

What's the hands-on project?

Designing and building a complete Dataverse data model, importing real data from SharePoint, applying security roles, and connecting it as a live data source for Power Apps and Power Automate.

Is this beginner-friendly?

Yes — no coding experience is needed, though basic familiarity with spreadsheets or business data helps.

What if I miss a session?
