How does the colour changing actually work?
Each SVG icon references Power Fx colour variables. When a user selects a new theme from the dropdown, all variables update simultaneously, causing every icon and UI element to re-render with the new colours instantly.
Can I define my own custom colour palettes?
Absolutely. The kit comes with pre-built palettes, but you can easily add your own brand colours by editing the Power Fx variables. The guide walks you through exactly how to do it.
Will it slow down my PowerApps app?
Not at all. SVG rendering is extremely lightweight, and Power Fx variable updates are near-instantaneous. There's zero performance overhead compared to traditional image-based icons.
Does it work with Model-Driven Apps?
This kit is specifically designed for Canvas Apps. Model-Driven Apps have a different rendering engine and don't support inline SVG the same way.
How many colours can I change at once?
